This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with Yoast Breadcrumbs not displaying the '/blog' path in the breadcrumbs on the Hestia Pro theme, even after disabling all plugins and resaving Yoast and Reading settings.
Solution:
We checked the blog page and noticed it was missing a title. We added a title to the blog page. We then asked the client to verify if the 'blog' string appeared correctly in the breadcrumbs.

If you're experiencing a similar issue with Yoast Breadcrumbs not showing the correct path, we recommend you:
1. Ensure that your blog page has a title set.
2. Check the breadcrumbs after adding the title to confirm if the issue is resolved.

Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. If the problem persists, we highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need assistance, please open a new support ticket.

Hi,

Thanks for the access details. I checked the blog page, and it was without a title, so I added a title. (hidden link)

Kindly check if the blog string appeared correctly. (hidden link)

Osama

Hi yes it seems to have done the trick, but the reason I never put in a title in the way you did it is because as you can see on the page, now it says Blog right above the image and it doesnt look nice.

I had set another title (THE Greek mythology blog!) separately. Is there a way of adding the title to the page so that it creates the slug as we need but that it doesnt actually show the part I highlighted in red?

Hi,

In the page settings, you can disable the title. (Kindly check the attached screenshot)

Ok thanks that seems to do the trick. Finally we can close this. Last question about the workaround you told me about in the other ticket "Woocommerce main shop page translated into 3 languages".

You showed me a workaround there, which I didnt implement yet. If I dont implement it, will WPML eventually patch this, or is it something I must to manually if I want to implement it?

Hi,

1) Our dev team is aware of the issue and will work on it, but I don't have an estimation of when it will be added to the WPML SEO plugin.

2) It's great to hear that the issue is fixed. 🙂 Please don't hesitate to open a new ticket if you face any other issues. We are always happy to help you.

Have a great day!

Best regards,
Osama
