Product default language

matasM	I'll try to explain in small points: Sorry I closed a ticket and didn't see some things still being wrong. So the main language of the website is English. All products were imported in Russian language so wpml sees those products as English because that's the default. I duplicated all those products into Russian based on this - https://wpml.org/forums/topic/how-to-change-default-product-language-when-it-was-created-in-another-language/ So this helped to make them Russian but those products are not showing up in woocommerce multilingual tab. They are only in "All products".

matasM	Maybe somebody could log in to my wp and help me fix everything. I've been doing this for a long time and I can't get it to work. I just want the products that are on the website to be considered as Russian so I can buy bulk automatic translation to other languages.

Yvette Supporter Languages: English (English ) Spanish (Español ) Timezone: Europe/Paris (GMT+02:00)	Hello Is it possible for you to re-import the products as Russian products? e.g. delete all products, set the default value of the site to RU temporarily, then import the products. Otherwise, you could do the following: - delete all the RU products that you have made from EN import - this will leave you back where you started from (all products in Russian but tagged as EN products in WPML) - I would then use a database plugin or phpMyAdmin to select all products and variations in our icl_translations table and change the language tag from "en" to "ru". That would meet your needs I am pretty sure. I wait for your feedback on these ideas

matasM	Is it element_type post_product? Have to do it 500 times so it will take a bit.

Yvette Supporter Languages: English (English ) Spanish (Español ) Timezone: Europe/Paris (GMT+02:00)	Yes - you would also want to include "post_product_variation" With most database tools, you can do a select-all and do a bulk edit change. I do this with the Adminer plugin for example so I am only setting a single value that is applied to all 500 products at the same time. If you have all the correct products selected, the update is a single "edit".

matasM	That's amazing I think it's fixed. At least for now I don't see any problems. Now I will try to auto-translate those products into 2 languages. Thought I'll ask here if you don't mind. If I order the translation and pay for it can I just cancel the next month and keep my translations? Is there any strange rules or something like that? Also I would like to keep this open for a little bit longer until I'm sure everything works.

matasM	Ok now I'm struggling with the actual automatic translation. I put all the products in translation basket. Sent them for translation and I still don't understand how to actually translate it.

There are other supporters currently better trained on the automatic translation questions that can help you and take that new ticket.
