This link hidden link please try to view it in US view, and it shows wrong sorting order. We tried to sort low-high but it shows $18 as first result, where as $12.99 later. See attached.
We have regular price as blank for the hidden link this book which is coming at first point. But for $/US view we have price as $18, and I think why it is showing that first, because it is considering regular price to sort the products.
Could you guys please check and advise how we can fix this?
I have been assigned to your ticket. I would need to take a look at your backend to fully understand the issue although I do see how to reproduce it on the frontend.
Temporary Access to your system
Please provide access to your system (wp-admin and ftp) so that I can further investigate this particular problem. The fields to provide this data are included in a private section that I will open for your next response. You can find it above the comments area. The information in this private section is only visible between WPML Support and you.
I was not able to reproduce the error here on this sandbox site: hidden link
Steps to reproduce:
1. Select category "Accessories"
2. I have set custom prices in 2nd currency
3. Test the sorting by price: low to high
4. This seems to work in both currencies.
Can you please confirm this on your end. This sets a baseline that product sorting is working with a basic setup of Woocommerce, multicurrency, and custom pricing in 2nd currrency.
We can then check what is the difference between your site and the baseline example.
Hi Yvette, I have checked your sandbox instance and made changes in this product: hidden link remove regular price from product, then when I sorted it is showing wrong product at first. Instead it should show the one has $14 first but it is showing $16 one first. See attached images for ref.
OK- thanks for that! So, the question is, why do you have " " for the field "Regular Price"?
On your staging site, if I deactivate our plugins, the sorting is still not working. It seems that you need this field for Woocommerce logic to work. I am not sure our plugin is affecting this behaviour.
It is not the issue of blank, if say we have regular price as 50 and 10 for US view, then when we sort low to high this product will not appear right as well.
Because WooCom is considering the regular field to sort the prices, where as when in US view, it should consider those prices to sort. Isn't it a feature in WPML?
Let me know if confusing, give me your dev instance again and I can show it to you without blank pricing. Please check!
Hi, I edited product again and made regular price as 4. But when I am sorting at front-end it is showing price as $18 but showing at first in the high-low, whereas it should show after the 2nd product as it has price grater than the 2nd one. See attached images for clarity.
I´ve seen that it cleared 2nd tier verification and went on to development. It looks like a case that was either overlooked or a regression problem.
The notes indicate a target for next release of WCML but no timeline is visible. Unfortunately, we cannot offer any workaround in the meantime either as it requires a bit of coding/re-coding to be done.
