One of our client's websites uses WPML for translations. The default language of the site is English, and the other language is Dutch. The site has issues with the way the product translations are setup. Instead of just translating the text fields, we can edit and change the product attributes in the other languages. i.e. the products for English and Dutch languages are different products. This is causing an issue with the stock management as the same product is displayed twice (for each language). How can I make the site have just one product id for the base language, and others have the translations? hidden link
you can login to the dev site and check the issue here.
Notice: Please don't add your site credentials to your comment. This is a public forum and anyone can see that. You can share when a supporter asks for it and there will be a private box to fill in the info.
I'm also not able to login to the admin area to check this because there is a Two-Factor Authentication module enabled and it requires adding the token to go on.
I do not see that issue on the dev site, here is an example product in the Dutch language hidden link

The attribute option and variation data are locked when editing the product in the second language. Can you please share a product URL where you see the issue? Remember the attribute and variation should be created in the original language first and translate the product then.
