PT pages redirecting automatically to EN on

colourI	Hi We just went live with the website hidden link and we have to make some url redirections from pages that changed to new ones. Eg. hidden link to hidden link and from hidden link to hidden link. We are using the plugin WP 301 Redirects and we have configured both redirects as you can see on the imagem attached. But on the google search results if the search for marriage proposal pt and click on the results from the pages hidden link or hidden link both go to the correct page that we are redirecting to but in EN when they shoul be going to the PT version. Why?

This content no longer exists and this is why WPML redirects to site's default language: hidden link: I can actually reach the page here: hidden link The difference is here, that one URL uses the language code /pt/, and the current available page uses /pt-pt/. Did you create a new custom language for Portuguese? Best regards Andreas

colourI	Hi On the older site the client used Polylang and it was set to have just pt as a parameter for the language. On the newer site we are using wpml and the parameter is set to be pt-pt. Can't it stay like this? What can we do to correct this issue?

Supporter Languages: English (English ) German (Deutsch ) Timezone: America/Lima (GMT-05:00)	Hello, I searched in Bing last week and found only two or three entries for: site:hidden link Today I found three pages, which means that the site is actually getting indexed. Then make sure to follow this guide so that all your SEO data is correctly translated with WPML: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/wpml-seo/ After that, I suppose it is only a matter of time until Google has indexed the site again as expected. In case something will still not work as expected, then please let me know and I will take a closer look at the site. Best regards Andreas
