[Resolved] Recent update killed back end of website

Background of the issue:
Hi, i tried to login to the website and the back end was WSOD. I contacted siteground support who have for now disabled the plugin

Here is the update from them can you advise please?

I've investigated the case and the problem with the wp-admin was produced by the sitepress-multilingual-cms plugin. When you tried to open the wp-admin panel of the website with that plugin active, the process that handles your request starts looping on looking for a non-existing file:

/home/customer/www/marauders-menshealth.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/res/js/.js

until it reaches the server timeout limits and gets killed. Note in the above path that there is no actual filename, just a ".js" extension.

My recommendation would be to try and reinstall the plugin and if the problem persists - consult with its developers who should be able to determine the cause of the problem and suggest a solution.

Symptoms:
site back end is only accessible if WPML is disabled
