This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're trying to redirect visitors from specific countries like the USA or Canada to a different website or subdomain based on their location, using WPML's "redirect visitors according to browser language" feature won't work for this purpose.
Solution:
We recommend using a geolocation plugin to achieve this type of redirection. WPML only supports redirection based on the browser's language settings, not the geographical location of the visitor. You can find a list of geolocation plugins compatible with WPML here: https://wpml.org/plugin-functionality/geotargeting/

Hi, I have enabled "redirect visitors according to browser language." My question is:
is it possible to redirect visitors from specific countries (USA / Canada) to another website (subdomain)?

That is, people in US/Canada clicking on hidden link will be redirected automatically to hidden link

Thanks in advance!

Hi there.

The only redirection WPML offers is related to the browser's language, not Geolocation, so you can't redirect users based on their current location.

You'd need a Geolocation plugin to do that.

You can check our list of compatible plugins here:
