Background of the issue:
I am trying to retrieve translated articles in the 'Translation Jobs' section of WPML, but the 'get translation' button does not appear. Clicking on 'Start batch sync' does not help. As a consequence, we are unable to retrieve translated articles and to work on SEO/publish them. (site: ninjaone.com)

Symptoms:
We never get the 'Get translation' message and we get the following WPML Batch Status: 'Translation Jobs Delivered to memoQ WPML successfully delivered your translation jobs to memoQ. Next, someone from memoQ will contact you to complete the order and start the translation. Additional Steps Required.' But we delivered the translation in MemoQ and the task appears as 'Complete' there, so the issue is apparently not with MemoQ.

Questions:
Why does the 'Get translation' button not appear in the 'Translation Jobs' section?
What steps should I take if the translations are marked as complete in MemoQ but not appearing in WPML?
How can we retrieve the affected translations in WPML?

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. Before passing this thread to my colleague, I would like to share some suggestions and possible solutions for the issues you mentioned.

Please provide a screenshot from the Translation Jobs tab (WPML>>Translation Management>>Translation Jobs), highlighting the jobs that are experiencing the issue. This will help us to investigate the problem further.

Thanks!

Hi Bigul,
Thank you for the answer.

We have several different tasks that are affected, here are the screenshots after I clicked on the "sync batch" button, for it to be clear that nothing happens.

The fact that the deadline has passed on some tasks usually has no incidence on whether or not we can retrieve the translation, so that shouldn't be a detail to take into account.

Thank you,
Laurie

Hello Laurie,

I apologize for the delay in responding. I will take care of this ticket; the reply time will be shorter now.

Can you please go to WPML -> Support -> Remote XML Config Log -> click on "communication log"

If the content is too big, please paste it into a text file and upload it to a service like Google Drive or Dropbox and share a link so we can download it and check it.

Best Regards,
Otto
