So in the end, for this one. I just ensured it would go through the translation, either by simply using the Dutch version or saving and refreshing multiple times - so basically wrong content. And then edited everything manually because it wouldn't save actual translation.

Me again, I now also see the blocks for the other countries I mentioned in the Reusable Blocks overview. However, they don't seem to be connected to the Dutch versions anymore.

Thank you for the details. For now let's avoid touching the translation in WordPress editor completely and only stick with the advanced translation editor as if you do any changes in the WordPress editor for the translation it will create a conflict between ate and the item.

Please use the WPML > Translations menu to finish up whatever translation is still outstanding.

I checked the Belize option and I do see that you managed to handle the links correctly and now the translation is showing 100% complete.

Unfortunately the only reason the links and translations are now correct is because I did it manually after accepting I could only save the wrong translations. I could not save them as I wanted to in the advanced translation editor.

No thoughts about the blocks that reappeared and how to reconnect the language versions?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply and sorry for my late answer. The problem with that is that the patterns or reusable blocks do not have any sort of language section on the sidebar, it is a native WordPress limitation.

So it is not possible to manually set a page as a translation of another page and everything needs to be handled by translation management.

Now such an inconsistency suggests that it might be a compatibility issue between the "Reusable Blocks Admin Menu Option" plugin and WPML.

As I do not have any set of steps to replicate the issue I am not sure how to go forward.

The compatibility issues should be replicated on a clean installation to be able to report to the compatibility team.

So for now what I suggest is that you keep only accessing translation management whenever it comes to the reusable blocks plugin and avoid even going to the translate language in the block editor.

If you can find set of steps that cause the issues I will be happy to try to replicate that on a clean installation.

Thanks.
