This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client wants to set up two different RSS feeds for their multilingual site, one for English posts and another for German posts, to manage email announcements for different audiences.
Solution:
We recommend contacting the authors of the Echo RSS Feed Post Generator for assistance with the setup and implementation of the RSS feeds as it involves a third-party plugin. Alternatively, the client can hire a certified developer from https://wpml.org/contractors/.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

For my site hidden link

I would like to know the best way to have two different RSS feeds: one for English posts and one for German posts.

I want to use these to send out emails from mailerlite to announce new posts but I have 2 different audiences.

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

The WPML Plugin is currently fully compatible with the following RSS plugin.
- https://wpml.org/plugin/echo-rss-feed-post-generator/ [Recommended]
Process: hidden link

Process: hidden link

Using any one of the plugins, you can create language-specific RSS feeds and hopefully, it will help in achieving what you're looking for.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Just to make sure: did I make it clear that I don't want to display other people's / other sites RSS on my site,

I want to have a way to be able to take my own RSS feed and split it into one for English articles - and one for German articles

These feeds need to be picked up by a mailerlite RSS email function.

So for example, instead of having at present just

Can I do that with the plugins you recommend?

I want to have two feeds corresponding to the two WPML languages that I have on the site like this:

Hi There,
Thank you for the clarification.

Yes, you've made it clear that you don't want to display RSS feeds from other sites, but instead, split your own RSS feed into separate ones for English and German articles.

The "Echo RSS Feed Post Generator" plugin can help you create your own feed from your site. With this plugin, you can configure it to filter posts by language and generate separate RSS feeds for each language. For more details about the process, please check this video: hidden link

I hope it will help. Please feel free to let me know if you have any other queries or need clarification. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi Prosenjit.

I have been able to install the Echo RSS Feed Post Generator, and watched the video you shared but I cannot find any non-developer documentation about the settings that I need to enter in the advanced field.

So I looked at all the WordPress Developer Resources but I am not a developer so I could not make any sense of it.

Is it possible for someone from WPML to help me here or can you recommend a developer who could be of assistance?

Hi,

My name is Marcel, and I will take over your ticket, as my college Prosenjit is unavailable today. Please note that we can't assist much in the general setup of a third-party plugin for you. The author doesn't provide any other information about the process except the video shared.

I recommend that you contact the authors of Echo RSS Feed Post Generator for general setup/implementation questions, or you can hire a certified developer from here: https://wpml.org/contractors/.

Best Regards
Marcel
