Tell us what you are trying to do?

We want to create a multi-site website, where we can assign language to sub site and clone a sub site from main site.

We have tried to do so, but we need to manually translate site after creating and that is a long process and also we are getting errors while translating language.

So, is there a way to translate language in main site & then assign that language to the sub site ?

Also, we need some sub sites to have multiple languages.

Please check & let us know,
Thanks

Is there any documentation that you are following?
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/

Is there a similar example that we can see?
hidden link - main site
hidden link - german language site

What is the link to your site?

Hello,

I am afraid that is not possible as each site is a new separate site. You must configure WPML individually on each of your subsites and WPML acts individually on them.

You can use WPML on multisite setups, whether you want WPML on the whole network or just individual subsites. Each subsite can use different languages and translation settings.
