Tell us what you are trying to do?

I need to update WordPress and WooCommerce on a website. In order to do so I created a staging site using WP Staging Pro (version 4.6.1).

Version information:
WordPress 5.9.8 needs to be updated to 6.3.2
WooCommerce 6.2.1 needs to be updated to 8.2.1
WPML 4.5.2 needs to be updated to 4.6.5
PhP version is 7.4.33

I updated WordPress, WooCommerce, all other plugins. I deleted the old WPML plugins and installed new ones. So far so good.
However the shopping cart does not update. On the front page, when I click the add to cart button directly it works but when I open the product and want to add it to the cart it does not. Also when I go to the cart and try to change the ordered numbers and update the cart, nothing happens.

What is the link to your site?

I tried to check the staging site at hidden link but there's a login page which I can't get through.

Is issue happening for primary/default language, secondary language or both?

However, before proceeding further, can you please try the following?

IMPORTANT: Take full backup of your website and database beforehand. It is highly advised to try the following on a staging/dev site first, so your live website isn't compromised.

- Update WPML plugins to the latest versions. Please note that latest WPML version is 4.6.7 while WPML String Translation is 3.2.8.
- Deactivate all plugins except WPML and WooCommerce and check for the issue.
- Activate each plugin one-by-one, while keeping check on the issue after a plugin is activated. This way you'll be able to pinpoint a plugin having a conflict (or problem), if any.
- If the problem persists, repeat the above steps with a default theme of WordPress (i.e. 2021 or 2023).
- Also check the browser's console for any JavaScript errors. If you find any, copy that in your next reply. See https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/ for details on how to find these errors.
