This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client migrated to a new host provider and encountered issues with WPML plugins not working due to the site key not being validated. This issue arose because the domain name default changed with the new web host provider.
Solution:
We recommended the following steps to resolve the site key validation issue:
1. Perform a full site backup.
2. Navigate to your account page at https://wpml.org/account/sites/
3. Delete the existing site key.
4. Go to Wp-Admin -> Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial tab.
5. Click on "Unregister WPML from this site".
6. Refresh the page.
7. Click on "Get a key for this site" and copy the newly generated code.
8. Return to Wp-Admin -> Plugins -> Add New -> Commercial tab and register the site with the new key.
9. Check if the issue persists.

The client's lifetime license allows registering multiple sites without additional costs for new site keys.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hello,

I have migrated to a new host provider and WPML plugins are not working. There is an issue with the "site key" it is not validated. I believe the issue is coming from what the new webhost provider is doing with the domain name. With the old provider my default site address was "https//www.art-en-ciel.ca" but with the new provider the default is "https//art-en-ciel.ca". Is there a way to fix the site key?

I have the same issue with "hidden link".

Thank you.

Best regards.

Hello,

I have a lifetime license. Does your procedure will still work or is it going to invalidate the current key? I don't want to pay extra cost here.

Thank you.

Best regards.

Hi,

Your lifetime license allows you to register multiple sites, and there shouldn't be any problems with your website following the instructions I sent you.

* You won't need to pay anything for the new site key that you'll generate.

Let me know how it goes.

Kind regards,
Marsel
