Background of the issue:
We are developing a site and using WPML to translate WooCommerce products. Our workflow involves duplicating an existing product, changing its SKU before publishing, and then translating it into other languages.

Symptoms:
When translating duplicated WooCommerce products, the translated versions do not inherit the updated SKU. Instead, WPML generates a modified SKU based on the original value.

Questions:
Is there a way for WPML/WooCommerce Multilingual to recognize the updated SKU and copy it into the translated products, instead of generating a new one?
If not currently possible, is there any recommended setting, workflow, or hook that would allow SKU syncing during translation?
