Hello i think this is a lot of request by your plugin, i try to optimize more the request by added redis to my server. Can you have a check ? i follow the guideline to optimize WPML ...

On the same time i got this error when i try to update plugin : Update failed: Download failed. cURL error 28: Failed to connect to wpml.org port 443: Connection timed out

Can you please share some screenshots of the issue or a log of requests so I can understand the issue on your site?

I suggest you update WPML plugin to the new version 4.6.7 and follow the documentation below to analyze performance on your site:
