Background of the issue:
I am trying to resolve an issue where our SMTP continuously sends out emails about being unable to send emails, specifically when it is an overdue translation email. It seems that WPML is combining the first and last name and email address start into one long email, causing issues.

Symptoms:
SMTP sends emails about being unable to send emails when it is an overdue translation email. WPML appears to be combining first and last name and email address start into one long email.

Questions:
Where does the system house its email settings so that this can get fixed?

Hi,

Welcome to WPML support. I will answer this ticket before it is assigned to one of my colleagues.

I have some common checks that I suggest you do:

Review Translator Notification Settings:

- Navigate to Users → All Users in your WordPress dashboard.
- Edit the profile of the translator experiencing the issue.
- Scroll down to the WPML Translator Settings section.
- Ensure that the "Send me a notification email when there is something new to translate" option is appropriately configured.
- Check that the first and last name are properly sized for your SMTP server limitations.

Check Translation Manager Notification Settings:

- Go to WPML → Settings.
- Click on the "Translation notifications" tab at the top.
- Verify that the "Notification emails to the translation manager" setting is configured correctly.
- Uncheck options that might have conflicts with your SMTP server limitations.

Thanks.
