This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are managing translations on your site and notice that some translations are missing, which were previously available. When attempting to translate a page, not all strings are visible. Despite trying WP safe mode, deactivating other plugins, and switching themes, the issue persists. You also encounter multiple pages for the same language with the same URL, and deleting any causes frontend issues. Some pages display only a few sentences for translation, though the page contains many.
Solution:
If you're experiencing similar issues, we recommend the following steps:
1. Open the Advanced Translation Editor and complete the translation process without closing the tab or navigating away to avoid an in-progress job being interrupted.
2. After completing the translation, edit the page in the original language (Dutch). Make a minor change to the page title or content and save these changes.
3. Update the translation page and check if the issue is resolved.

This solution might not be relevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to manage translations on my site hidden link. There are translations missing that were there before. When I go to translate the page, not all strings are available. I have tried turning on WP safe mode, deactivating all other plugins, and switching to a different theme, but the issue persists.

I recorded a video for reference: hidden link

Symptoms:
There are multiple pages for the same language, and translations are not visible. Some pages have duplicate entries with the same URL, and deleting either one causes the page to not work on the frontend. Some pages only show one or two sentences for translation, even though the page has many more sentences.

Questions:
Why are there multiple pages for the same language with the same URL?
Why are translations missing or not visible on the frontend?
Why are only one or two sentences available for translation on some pages?
Is starting all translations anew the best way to solve this issue?

Hi Jessy,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I’m happy to help you with this issue.

When you open the Advanced Translation Editor, even no changes, please complete the translation instead of closing the tab or back to another page to prevent an inprogressing job.

After completing the translation, I suggest you edit the page in the original language (Dutch) > Make a small change to the page title/content > Save > Update the translation page and see if it helps.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks
