Background of the issue:
My theme has specific page types for headers and footers, which I edit using Elementor. After installing and setting up WPML, I encountered an issue where Elementor won't load when trying to edit these page types (headers and footers). However, it will still allow me to edit "standard" pages. All plugins and the relevant theme are up-to-date. I have already tried troubleshooting by deactivating all plugins, activating only Elementor and WPML plugins, deactivating individual WPML plugins, and reinstalling the WPML CMS plugin manually. I will provide the debug log and access to the site in a separate private message.
