Thank you for support on this topic. We have decided that we will leave it for now as it is. Maybe in the future I will reach you again.
Now, can we jump into '& amp ;' issue in ATE? As I said, I have updated WPML and String Translations to the latest versions, just to check if problem is resolved, but unfortunatelly still occurs.
I've tried to reproduce the issue in my sandbox site but it seems to work just fine. Please see the attached and hidden link">watch my screen-recording for detailed information.
Can you please try again with the latest WordPress, WPML plugins and a default theme? If you do, make sure to edit your text in default language, make a small change, save and then update the translation.
You can also try to reproduce the issue in this sandbox site hidden link (one-click login).
Please take your time and let me know your findings. It'll be great if you can also record your screen for better understanding.
I've just opened the translation from your screen, and I can see `& amp ;` on both sides. At your screen issue also appears on the left. Check my screen.
But that's not an issue, because any symbol or special character is treated using their corresponding HTML Entities, like & as & amp ;. While this is rendered as a character properly in website frontend, page builder or in such a text field which supports translating these HTML codes or entities into their visual form (i.e. rich text boxes).
If you notice in the video, right side also shows the & amp ;, but as soon as I clicked in it to edit the translation, it showed me proper & sign. Because that input box supports HTML content.
The issue you mentioned in the chat was about this simply not appearing in translation side of the ATE (see attached). However, can you please clarify about what exactly is the issue you're facing about this & sign?
P.S.: I'm off over the weekend and 'll be able to attend on Monday.
