Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand what you're looking for. The WooCommerce Mail can only be translated from the 'String Translation' section. To understand the overall process, please check this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/woocommerce-multilingual/how-to-translate-woocommerce-emails/

Before proceeding with the translation, ensure that you have added the content for Emails by navigating to "WooCommerce > Settings > Emails" (Screenshot: hidden link). If you only use placeholders, they will not be available for translation.

I hope the information above will help in translating the emails. But, feel free to let me know if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hello Prosenjit,

I have fallowed all the steps from the link you send. If i understood it right it is only translating subject, heading, additional content. I also want to translate the body (see screenshots).

How can I do that?

Regards,

Rani

Hello Rani,

The contents that appear in the Body are static texts and they can easily be translated from String Translation. Here's what you can do:

- Please go to "WPML > Theme and Plugins Localization"
- Scroll down to the plugin section and select "WooCommerce". Then click on the "Scan" button at the end.
- Once the scan is completed, please go to "WPML > String Translation"
- Search for the text that you want to translate. For example, if you want to translate the 'Order Received' text, simply insert the text in the search box and click on the Enter button.
- If the text appears in the result, add the translation by clicking the "+" icon under the language flag.

Using this approach, you can easily translate the static text within the email body. However, the email might also contain dynamic elements like Product Information and Addresses. The translation of such Product Information depends on the existence of product detail translations in the backend. If the product details have been translated, the purchaser of the translated product will receive an email containing the translated product information.

For Addresses, they will reflect exactly as entered by the user during checkout, in all languages.

I hope you can understand. Feel free to let me know if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hello Prosenjit,

I translated as you described. I could translate a lot more this way. But there are still many texts/words that I cannot find on "string translation" when I search for them, see the attached picture where I have marked some of these.

I hope you can help me with this.

Regards,
Rani

Hi There,
Thank you for the update.

I'm more than willing to help! If they are part of the default WooCommerce Email template, you should be able to locate and translate them via the String Translation. If they are not visible there, could I kindly ask you to attempt the steps provided in the guide below?

If you're still having trouble finding those texts, please let me know the exact location of where they are added. Sharing a screenshot of where you've included these texts would greatly help me in gaining a clearer understanding and offer more precise guidance.

Looking forward to your response and I'm always here to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
