This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported that their stock is reduced multiple times when an order is processed, observing multiple stock reduction messages in both the original and translated languages. Despite using troubleshooting tools and clearing caches, the issue persisted.
Solution:
We suggested the client to:
1. Temporarily disable all WPML plugins.
2. Place a new order using the same product as in the problematic order.
3. Check if the same stock reduction issue occurs.
This test will help determine if the issue is related to WPML or another factor. If the problem persists even with WPML disabled, it confirms that WPML is not causing the issue. We also recommended testing with only WPML, WooCommerce Multilingual (WCML), and WooCommerce activated, while all other plugins are temporarily disabled, to rule out conflicts with third-party plugins.

The client found that the issue was caused by too many webhooks configured in the payment gateway.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. If the issue persists, we highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If needed, do not hesitate to open a new support ticket.

Hi Andrey

I have experienced that my stock is reduced 2-3 times when an order is processed. I can see I receive several woo messages on the order that stock has been reduced - in both the original language and the translated language (have a look at order #35591). I have tried to sync stock status using your 'Troubleshooting' tools and flushed WP Rocket and Redis cache afterwards but I am still seeing the problem. We have to adjust stock manually after processing every order, so a rather critical issue.

I know it is probably not related to the issue regarding the tabs, but would it be possible for you to have a look at this also when you are logged into the system? Maybe it is because all the published products on the original language have not been translated yet? Can this cause some out of sync issues that can trigger several stock reductions?

Thank you very much for your help 🙂

/Peter

Hi Peter,

I’ve reviewed this on your site, and WPML appears to be correctly configured. I don’t see anything suspicious or any warnings.

It’s possible that this issue also occurs when WPML is disabled. Since the product hasn’t been translated yet, the behavior you’re seeing may not be related to WPML.

To help narrow this down, could you please try the following test?
1. Temporarily disable all WPML plugins.
2. Place a new order using the same product as in order #35591.
3. Check whether the same issue occurs.

If the issue still happens with WPML disabled, it would confirm that WPML is not the cause.

If this is not what you meant, or if you’re seeing behavior that you believe is specifically related to WPML, please provide more details. I would also recommend testing with only WPML, WCML and WooCommerce enabled, with all other plugins temporarily disabled.

Likely that a third-party plugin may be affecting this behavior.

I found the error - it was bacause of too many webhooks configured in the payment gateway. Thank you for your support 🙂
