Mike

ok, I'm having serious issues with WPML now.

I tried adding a menu to the sidebar, and after saving, the language menu switcher from the main, top menu, completely disappeared.

I didn't make any changes to the main menu, I was simply editing the sidebar.

I then went to check the WPML settings, and the website has completely disappeared - totally broken, so I'm guessing this is yet another CPU issue.

This is totally unacceptable, the plugin appears to be completely unstable.

Just for more info - the settings I had saved for the language switcher in the main menu, were completely missing after I tried editing the website sidebar.

The website became unresponsive, unavailable, and when it was back the settings above were wiped out.

I checked with my host, and no CPU issues were reported this time.

Thank you for sharing the details.

To better investigate that, please tell me the steps you took so I can reproduce the issue. I will re-create a menu language switcher, edit the side-bar in a copy of your website to see what happens.

It seems the access credentials you shared previously are no longer valid. Can you please share access again?

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site.

IMPORTANT

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:
