Hey Andrés,

When you are on the product page, the "breadcrumb" is not working (sometimes you are on the danish version and the breadcrumb is in english. So the issue is also visible here) :
hidden link (here we have 'Custom Suits' instead of 'Skraeddersyede Jakkesaet')

you should duplicate the product into second languages to fix the issue. Please check the attached screenshot.

Hey there,

If I don't want and need to duplicate the product to another language ? But still want to translate the product category ? Is it something possible ?

The issue that we have, is that the product alternate links in the head are correct (the category is well translated). why this is correct on the header and not in the body ?

Hi,

I try to replicate the issue on a clean installation of WordPress but don't see that issue. If you want to take a look, please click on this link to access the admin area

On your site, I suggest you enable a minimal environment as below:
- Deactivate all plugins except WPML plugins and WooCommerce.
- Switch to a standard theme of WordPress.
then delete the translation categories, re-translate them and see if it helps.

Hi,

Just tried your link, and you have the same issue than us 🙂

You can see it from there :
-> hidden link and click on your product you will see the URL is : hidden link instead of hidden link

This is creating an issue for the SEO with Conflicting hreflang and URLs.

Hi,

I understand that issue but it is handled in the previous ticket https://wpml.org/forums/topic/products-url/

In this ticket, I'm focusing on the issue with the product category name in the breadcrumb of WooCommerce as in the first comment.

However, I think you should duplicate the product to fix both issues. The issue with the product slug on the translation page has been escalated to our development team. My colleague will update you on that ticket if we have any information.
