Hi, thank you for support! Could please inform me how can I have the swatch images/color codes be included in a translated product too? Currently, the translated product instead of having swatches simply displays a dropdown list of variation

Hi There,
I hope you're doing well.

I have checked the default product and noticed that the Swatches have been created using the "Basel" theme. As the swatches have been configured within the Attribute terms, would you please try the solution mentioned in the ticket below and check if that helps to solve the issue?

Please let me know the update. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi Prosenjit,
thank you for reaching out and providing advice. Unfortunatly, the provided advice is not a workable solution for me as I do not even have that mentioned attribute from the docu. However, I set Color and Image to Copy, went to Attributes section under Product, found an attribute that stands for a product swatches, clicked on the Quick Edit link and just pressed the Update Color. After that, I was able to see image swatches for the translated product. Even though this is a workable solution, I have a lot of other products and swatche attributes. Is that possible to duplicate the products with swatches I see the image swatches in the duplicated product without doing that workaround I outlined above?

Hi There,
Thank you for the update.

I understand what you're looking for. Kindly be informed that the variation swatch isn't set up within the Product itself. It is configured separately in the "Products > Attributes" section. So, when you duplicate the Product, only the information within the product, including the variations will be duplicated, not the swatch configuration.

To ensure the Swatch in the Translated product looks the same as in the original, you'll need to configure the Swatch according to the instructions you followed earlier. If not done, the Swatch settings won't be transferred to the translated terms and the Variations will only be displayed in the Standard way(dropdown).

I hope this is clear to you. Please let me know if you need further assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
