Problem:
The client reported that the translated strings for the Masterstudy LMS plugin were not showing on their website, despite having worked previously.

I tried multiple things and can confirm the issue exists, so to further debug the issue, I would need to replicate your site on my localhost and perform further debugging.

Being so, can you please send me the package of wp-content and database backup, you can zip those files and share it with me using google drive.

Hi Shekhar,
I can see the issue on my end. It looks like the path of this file below is too long: FineGrainedConversionValueMappings.php

If you press: ignore when the error is displayed, the extraction of the .zip will work fine. It does work on for me.

It is a google ads file: C:\Users\marly\wp-content\plugins\google-listings-and-ads\vendor\googleads\google-ads-php\src\Google\Ads\GoogleAds\V16\Resources\CustomerSkAdNetworkConversionValueSchema\SkAdNetworkConversionValueSchema\FineGrainedConversionValueMappings.php

So I think it will not cause any issue for your WPML investigation.

This is weird. Can you share with me the error?

I am now uploading those 3 folders on google drive without zipping.
I will let you know as soon as they are ready.

Can you let me know if you can download the themes folder without any issue while waiting for the 2 other folders?

Hello there,

I replicated your site on my localhost and by following the below steps it's working properly for me, so can you follow this steps:

- Login to your ftp
- Go to wp-content/languages/plugins/
Rename the following files:
- masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system-fr_FR.l10n.php
- masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system-fr_FR.mo
- masterstudy-lms-learning-management-system-fr_FR.po

After this clear your cache and test it.

I already made the changes and it's working on the site.

If I go to my website: hidden link and click on: S'inscrire (very top right) it means: Register eg: if you are a new user

I end up on this Register page: hidden link

Unfortunately the strings are still in English. Except 2 as you can see here:

Do you get that on your end by loading my website?

I have checked the translated string in French and as you can see it should be fine:

Actually the 3rd red cross is correct.
Not sure why only some words are translated.

I wonder if a conflict can come from the Loco plugin that I had installed in the past before installing WPML?

Problem solved!!

I went through a bunch of forums and tried a lot of things to refresh the translations.
I can't tell you what exactly worked as I pressed a lot of buttons but, all good, you don't need to you worry about my issue anymore.

Actually it is partially solved but at least I know what is helpful.

WPML > String Translation > Auto register strings for translation

If I click on the option called: Look for strings while pages are rendered, the translation looks perfect here for example: hidden link

But if I turn off this option the translation doesn't work anymore.
I hope that will be a big help in your investigation.
