We are translating Learnpress plugin in our website (Eduma theme). With plugin localization we managed to translate everything into Croatian, however, the quiz is still showing up in English although we have translated the words (for example we have translated "Duration:" into Croatian but it is showing up in English). All other words in the course are showing up in Croatian after translation.
we are using the String Translation plugin. We have translated this Learnpress plugin with it, however, when we enter the translation of these buttons which are visible at the start of the quiz (screenshot above) they are not translated (they are still in English). Everything else is translated and works fine.
I will need to closely examine your website. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.
Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.
Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.
✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but in order to proceed with troubleshooting, we kindly request a site snapshot. Alternatively, with your permission, we can create a snapshot on our own.
For this purpose, we typically recommend using the free plugin "Duplicator." If you are already familiar with how Duplicator works ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and simply send me the archive file you downloaded.
To assist you further, please follow these instructions:
Watch the Duplicator instructions video: hidden link
If the archive file exceeds 400MB in size, please utilize Duplicator's file filters to exclude the cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files.
Once you have the archive file, please share the link with us. You can use services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar platforms as the snapshot file will likely be large.
Please note that your next reply will be private, visible only to you and me. You can paste the link to the file there. Rest assured that once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local site.
We've checked and it looks like you've not installed the LearnPress WPML add-on as shown in the attached screenshot here hidden link which is required for compatibility purposes as explained here https://wpml.org/plugin/learnpress/
Sorry for overlooking this, kindly install this addon and try translating the strings again using the String Translation. Let me know how it goes.
we have installed WPML Learnpress addon and are trying to translate strings in the quiz, but it is again not translated. (Everything else is translated well, only this part with the quiz doesn't work).
Could you please install the WPML Learnpress addon on your staging site here? hidden link . I need to escalate this to our 2nd Tier Support with that addon.
hope that you are fine! I just wanted to follow up on this to check if you maybe found the solution.
We have contacted theme support as well and they suggested us to translate via Loco Translate. Is it possible to use Loco Translate with WPML parallel on the website?
You can use the JSON file that I've uploaded to your Website via FTP as shown in the attached screenshot to translate those strings. It has to be done this way now until we have a better solution for this. You can consider this a temporary workaround.
