This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to translate manually typed names and designations in a teams slider created with WP Team Showcase and Slider Pro plugin using WPML.
Solution:
First, ensure that the Teams post type is set to be translatable in WPML by navigating to WPML > Settings > Post Types Translation. Then, to translate the strings, follow these steps:
1. Go to WPML > String Translation. At the bottom of the page, there is a checkbox labeled "Look for strings while pages are rendered". Check this box.
2. Visit the page where the slider is displayed to trigger the string detection.
3. Return to WPML > String Translation and search for the specific strings you wish to translate.
If the strings still do not appear, they might be categorized as admin text strings. For more detailed guidance on finding and translating admin text strings, visit this documentation.

If these steps do not resolve your issue or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your specific case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I created a teams slider with WP Team Showcase and Slider Pro plugin on my site hidden link. I want to translate the text for team member names and designations using WPML.

Symptoms:
I am unable to find a way to translate the text on the slider. Plugin support mentioned their plugin is available for language translation and suggested contacting WPML support.

Questions:
How can I translate the text on the teams slider using WPML?

Hi there.

Before this ticket gets assigned to my colleagues, I will try to help.

The proper way to translate strings depends a lot on how they have been implemented inside the theme/plugin.

In our case, those strings might be admin-text strings, so method 2 will probably resolve the issue for us and make those strings start showing up in WPML > String Translation. However, please try both methods and see if one of them resolves the issue.

Method 1:

Go to WPML > String Translation and at the bottom of the page you will find a checkbox called "Look for strings while pages are rendered". You can enable (check) that and then go to the front end to a page where you have that string showing up and then go back to WPML > String Translation and search for that string and see if it now shows up.

Method 2: If you can't find them inside the WPML > String Translation, they might be added as admin text strings.

This should be the normal process to find and translate admin text strings:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/string-translation/finding-strings-that-dont-appear-on-the-string-translation-page/

Please let us know how that goes.

Kind regards,

Hi thanks for the reply.
I've tried both methods, but they do not show me the texts that I need translated.
If you see my screenshot, those Names and designation texts are something I had manually typed in. They are not plugin defined admin texts.

When I tried both methods you've provided earlier, it only gives me whole bunch of strings from the plugin (probably admin texts I assume). Not the text I typed in.

Pls help me figure this out.

Thank you!

I had to enable the Teams post type to be translatable by going to WPML --> Settings --> Post Types Translation
