This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported that the language switcher was missing on both English and French search URLs, despite having added location translation and post translation.

Solution:
We noticed that the search URLs were using a different template from the homepage. The homepage had a breadcrumb coming from an Elementor shortcode with a news-filter, whereas the search pages had a WooCommerce Breadcrumb. Since the client is using Elementor PRO, we advised ensuring that the same shortcode used on the homepage is also applied to the search/archive template.

The language switcher is missing. I shared the two URLs for English and French
and I also added the location translation and post-translation.

for English post

for french post

but the language switcher is missing for both languages.

Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. I visited both search URLs and compared them to the homepage and I can see that they are using a different template with different elements.

On the homepage, the breadcrumb is coming from an Elementor shortcode with a news-filter inside. While on your search pages, you have a WooCommerce Breadcrumb.

As you are using Elementor PRO, you probably have different templates for the homepage and the search page. Could you please make sure to use the same shortcode also on your search/archive template.
