So I have some layout issues every time I update some pages on my website. I use Divi Builder and divi theme. So every time I update certain pages, and view them, a "right side layout" is being applied to the page (screenshot 1, attached). and even if I change the layout to none, it doesn't work.

I then have to keep the divi in safe mode, export the divi page layout, delete the current page, delete the page from trash, create a new page, import the page layout in this new page, disable safe mode, then disable and enable "WPML multilingual cms" plugin, and then it works.

I noticed that this plugin is causing the issue. because the newly created page won't be visible unless i disable and enable the plugin.

I noticed that we get this issue when we change the URL slug. Normally for pages built with divi, we have a name "divi" beside the name of the page, but as soon as we change the URL slug, the "divi" name beside the page disappears and the page layout changes automatically.

is this a known problem? any solutions?

the website is a staging site, so i can't provide the URL.

I am also attaching the screenshot of how the page looks once I do the process I mentioned above. ( screenshot 2 )

Hello,

Thank you for sharing the information.

Please check in WPML > Settings > Custom Fields Translation to see if there's any layout options from Divi that are set to “Don't translate”. If that's the case, please change them to “Copy”.

Let me know.

I see that all the options are set to "don't translate" (attached screenshot).
Should I change all of them to "copy"?

Hey there,

It's best no to. Just the divi-layout-related fields should be set to copy.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

IMPORTANT

- Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:
