This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with WPML not translating certain sections of their website correctly. Specifically, the Spanish version does not reflect the English version, and some parts of the site are reported as 'encoded.' Additionally, the client requested help translating the BIO of a person listed on their site.
Solution:
We cannot provide support via Zoom call, but we will assist you here step by step. For the BIO translation, we have opened a separate ticket to keep things organized, which you can follow here: https://wpml.org/forums/topic/split-translate-the-bio-of-the-person/. Regarding the 'encoded' content, this is sometimes expected. As a workaround, we recommend starting the translation directly from the original post/page edit screen using the WPML translation editor.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket here.
