Problem:
If you're seeing the message 'There is a problem with the String Translation table in your site' after installing WPML and you have no translations available yet, we have a solution for you.
Solution:
We recommend resetting WPML and setting it up again. Here's how you can do it:
1. Go to WPML → Support.
2. Click the Troubleshooting link.
3. In the Reset section of the Troubleshooting page, select the "I am about to reset all translation and language data" checkbox.
4. Click the "Reset and deactivate WPML" button.
Please ensure you create a backup of your database before proceeding with these steps, as a precaution. You can find more detailed instructions on the Troubleshooting page here.
If this solution is not relevant to your case, because it's outdated or simply not applicable, we encourage you to open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you need further assistance, please contact us in the WPML support forum.
