This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client needs to know if WPML can track changes and keep versions of translations, and whether it is possible to restore old translations using WPML.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this, we recommend checking if WordPress revisions is enabled on your site. You can open the translated page in the WordPress editor and check the available revisions for the translated page. From there, you can track the changes made to the translation and restore a previous version if needed. By default, revisions should be enabled, so you should find the Revision option when you open the page in the WordPress editor.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If further assistance is needed, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
