[Resolved] Translate "every" on cart and checkout page - WooCommerce Subscriptions
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is unable to translate the word 'every' to 'hver' on the WooCommerce checkout page using Woo Subscriptions, despite making changes in the backend. This issue arose after changing the subscription frequency from every 2 months to monthly. Solution: If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend the following steps: 1. Navigate to WPML-> String Translation and search for 'Every' to ensure the string is translated correctly. 2. If the translation issue persists: - Go to WPML-> Theme and plugins localization, select your theme/plugin, and scan. - Return to WPML-> String Translation. - Click on the 'Translate texts in admin screens »' link. - Search for the needed strings. - Select the strings and click on the 'Add to String Translation' button. - Click on the '« Return to String Translation' link. - Translate the strings, clear the cache, and check the frontend. For more detailed guidance, check our guide on translating texts in admin screens: Translating texts in admin screens.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the word 'every' in the order summary box on the WooCommerce checkout page using Woo Subscriptions. The site I need help with is hidden link. It currently says: 'xxx.xx kr. every måned (inkluderer xx.xx kr. Moms)' and it should say: 'xxx.xx kr. hver måned (inkluderer xx.xx kr. Moms)'. We recently changed from 2. monthly to monthly, and it worked fine before. I can change 'every' in the backend when setting up the subscription, but it doesn't reflect on the frontend. Please see screenshots here: hidden link.
Symptoms:
The word 'every' is not translating to 'hver' on the WooCommerce checkout page, despite changes in the backend.
Questions:
How can I ensure the translation of 'every' to 'hver' is reflected on the frontend?
Is there a specific setting in WPML that needs to be adjusted for this translation?
Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.
First of all, sorry for the late reply; it was due to a higher workload.
Please go to WPML-> String Translation, search for "Every", and make sure that the string is translated correctly.
If the above steps didn't help, please try the following steps:
1- Go to WPML-> Theme and plugins localization, select your theme/plugin, and scan
2- Go to WPML-> String Translation
3- Scroll down and click on the "Translate texts in admin screens »" link
4- Search for the needed strings
5- Select the strings
6- Click on the "Add to String Translation" button
7- Then click on the "« Return to String Translation" link
8- Translate the strings, clear the cache, and check the front end
It translates the string in some places in the backend but not all. Please see attached screenshot. The string is coming from WooCommerce Subscriptions.
It happened when we changed from every 2. month to monthly. It was working before so I'm suspecting there's an issue with the string "every" without the "x. months".
I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Thanks for the access details. I tried some workarounds with no luck. Please log in to this hidden link">sandbox site and install the WooCommerce Subscription plugin.
