I recently took Gravity Form to change with Contact form 7, But I can't translate normally the form cause the languages are not accessible from the button on top, as you can see on the screenshot, it is locked by the Gravity top bar. I have contacted them about it and they told me that's something to see with you guys.

How Can I translate my forms.

Hi Vanessa,

Thank you for contacting us.

Please share WPML support debug information from your site for further troubleshooting. More information on the link: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

A detailed guide on translating Gravity forms with WPML is here: https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/gravity-forms-multilingual/#translating-gravity-forms
Can you please review the docs and make sure you have the glue plugin ( https://wpml.org/download/gravityforms-multilingual/ ) installed and follow the docs If you haven’t already done so?

Since you said you are not able to see the language switcher at the top. Please make sure that the “No Conflict” mode is turned off from the Forms -> Settings page. Then go to WPML -> Translation Management to translate the form using translation management workflow.

Regards,
Subash

Hi,

Have you seen my screenshot? It seems not with your answer.
Yes I can see the languages, but the button is not well accessible due the Top bar crossing the button.
Please double check the screenshot before answering.

I do not want to use WPML translation workflow (= WPML's Translation Editor), it makes so much mess in my website and pages translation. I want to just translate my forms normally in my website not using WPML editor, please.

So how to do?

Cheers,
Vanessa

Hi Vanessa,

Sorry for the misunderstanding in my previous reply.

Yes, I can see on the screenshot the form page is extended beyond the top bar and breaking the top bar controls. The issue is probably a conflict between Gravity forms and some other plugins or themes on the site. You can verify that by deactivating WPML and see if the top bar not accessible issue still exists.

For further troubleshooting, you might need to back up the site completely then deactivate other plugins or themes to find the conflict.

Regarding the use of WPML translation workflow (= WPML’s Translation Editor):

To translate Gravity forms you will need to use our Translation management ( https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/ ) workflow.

As explained on our documentation for Gravity forms in the following link:
https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/gravity-forms-multilingual/
WPML Translation management is recommended and required to correctly translate Gravity forms on your site.

Regards,
Subash
