This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is using the WordPress editor for post translations and is unsure how to translate the title, alt text, and other attributes of the featured image, as well as seeking advice on handling image translations efficiently.
Solution:
If you're experiencing difficulties translating the title, alt text, and other attributes of the featured image using the WordPress editor, we recommend the following steps:
1. Use the 'text' tab in the WordPress editor to edit the HTML code of the content, similar to how you would with the default language.
2. Navigate to WPML->Media Translation to add translations for your images. Remember that after adding translations here, you must update the translation of the page or post for the changes to take effect.

Please note that this solution might not be applicable to your situation if it's outdated or not relevant to your specific case. We highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket with us.

Hi,

I'm using the wordpress editor for post translations.
By using this editor, I'm struggling to understand how to translate the title, alt text, etc of the featured image.

Whereas the translation of such info associated with other images inside the post can be perfomed directly editing the code (I'm not sure this is the quickest approach), how should I handle the featured image translations?

In general I need a couple of tips to handle as quick as possibile translations of images using the wordpress editor, or other methods compatible with the wordpress editor,

Thanks

Hi.

When using the WPML trnaslation editors typuically this info is included in the editor, however, you are using the WP editor which allows you to add the translation manually.

You can do one of the following:

1. Edit the code using the 'text' tab to view the HTML of the content as you would with the default language

2. Go to WPML->Media Translation and add the translations there. Do note that once that is done you will need to update the translation of the page or post to take effect.

Let me know your results, please.
