This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing issues with the French translation not copying the featured image and listing data from the default language. Additionally, there were problems with translating certain custom fields and checkboxes in the listings.

Solution:
We recommended the following steps to address the issues:
1. Navigate to WPML-> Settings-> Custom Fields Translation.
2. Enable the 'Show Multilingual Content Setup' meta box on the post edit screen and save the settings.
3. Edit the listing in the default language and check the 'Multilingual Content Setup' section.
4. Set the data fields to either 'copy' or 'translate' depending on the requirement.
5. Update the listing in the default language and then update its translation.
6. For issues with system fields not appearing correctly, go to the 'Show Systems Fields' option, search for '_cth', and adjust the settings to match those on the staging site.
7. Save the changes and update both the listing types and their translations.

If these steps do not resolve the issue or if the solution seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If problems persist, please open a new support ticket for further assistance at WPML support forum.

Hi Osama,

Thank you for your reply. I have tried to upload the townhub theme, but the uploading files did not work. I also tried to add the zip file using file manager however I was not able to navigate the theme folder.

Can you help us here?

Hello,
My name is Carlos, and I will continue working on this ticket because my colleague Osama is on vacation.

I have downloaded the parent and child themes from your staging site and uploaded them to the sandbox site created by Osama. Please activate the theme and try to reproduce the issue.

Looking forward to your message.
Regards,
Carlos

Hi, Osama and Carlos,

Thank you for your help, Carlos, Osama did a great job helping me with the previous issue. I hope you can help me with the checkboxes field.

I created the listing and listing type, then the checkboxes. It confirmed that the issue persists. Please review the checkboxes here:

hidden link - please go to Field tab > listing

Here are the steps on what I have done so far:
1. I edited the label: 'Services one' to 'Services one - edited label' the new label is not showing
2. I edited the label and value of 'Services two' to 'Services one - edited label' 'Services one - edited value' and it both showed the old and new fields.

Hi,

I ran a few tests in the sandbox site, and as you can see: hidden link there are issues with the checkboxes even with the WPML plugins disabled.

I have created a screencast showing the problem: hidden link

Please contact the theme authors and ask them to check this issue on their side.

Regards,
Carlos
