This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client wants to use WPML to translate their website content from German back to the original English version after making optimizations in the German text.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this, we recommend you try the following steps:
1. Please create a full website backup
2. Enable Translation Editor: Ensure the WPML Translation Editor is enabled.
3. Duplicate the German Page: Go to the German page and duplicate it.
4. Translate: Use the Translation Editor to translate the duplicated German content back to English.
This approach will help you effectively reverse the translation process.

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out. To translate your German site back to the original English version using WPML, you can try following these steps:

1. Please create a full website backup
2. Enable Translation Editor: Ensure the WPML Translation Editor is enabled.
3. Duplicate the German Page: Go to the German page and duplicate it.
4. Translate: Use the Translation Editor to translate the duplicated German content back to English.

This way, you can effectively reverse the translation process.

Please let me know if you need further assistance or if any issues arise during this process.

If I did not understand the question correctly, can you please try to explain this a bit more?

Thank you!
