This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You are trying to translate content to Kurdish (Kurmanji) using WPML, but the plugin only supports the Sorani version of Kurdish. You expected to see the Kurmanji version of the Kurdish language, but instead, you got the Sorani version.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend setting up a new custom language for Kurmanji. You can do this by following the steps outlined in the WPML documentation on editing the languages table. Here is the link to the guide: Editing WPML's Languages Table.
Create a new custom language and use "kmr" as the language code. After that, make sure that inside WPML > Translation Management > Translators > you have the language pairs correctly added.
This solution might be irrelevant if itβs outdated or not applicable to your case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If this does not resolve your issue, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
