[Resolved] Translation jobs not showing up in the queue
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: After switching to a new host, the client is unable to send translation jobs to the queue; they do not appear as expected. Solution: We identified that this issue often occurs due to a known problem related to host migration. Specifically, it involves a database error where a UUID column is missing after migration. We recommend checking the detailed documentation on this issue at WPML Known Issue on Database Error Missing UUID Column After Migration.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, please open a new support ticket. We also highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Hello, I did a switch yesterday to Bigscoots for my website host. Today I can not seem to send translations job to the queue for myself to translate. They are just not showing up in the queue. What should I do.
Hello,
I am having issues with WPML since i switched my hosting to BigScoots yesterday. There is an automated translation that is stuck and glitching in the queue, not sure if that is why i can not send any jobs to translations.
Thank you for contacting WPML support. I'd be happy to assist you on this issue.
Since all initial debugging is done, To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site.
So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. hidden link
I have a navigation menu translation that is stuck. It was translated by an automatic translation. It is stuck as a Draft - Pending review. I can not cancel it, approve it, or cancel it. When I click on review, the page simply glitched. When I click on view the original, it says that it does not exist. I have tried troubleshooting it, but nothing seems to work.
Regarding the hidden link page, it appears that the job has been deleted, which is likely causing the issue. May I go ahead and install a database plugin to fix this?
Also, let me know if there is any other pages with same issue?
Please ensure a recent backup is created before confirming.
I am hoping that the mobile menu page translation is the only issue. I have not been able to send anything to translation since that has been stuck. Please do what you need to do in order to fix this.
I believe that Bigscoots backs up my website every day so you should be good to go. I just want to be able to use WPML again.
