This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue with translating the text "* indicates required fields" into German on a Gravity Form within a multilingual site. The text appears correctly in Dutch and English, but not in German.
Solution:
We recommended that the client provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to their site for further investigation. We also advised backing up the database and website before making any changes. The client resolved the issue by removing some inactive plugins, which resolved the translation problem without further action needed.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a Gravity Form on a site with three languages. On the Dutch contact page (hidden link), the form looks OK. When I switch to English, it's also OK, but when I switch to German, the text at the top of the form states "*" indicates required fields, which is not translated into German. I've added the plugin Gravity Forms Multilingual. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link.

Symptoms:
The text "* indicates required fields" is not translated into German on the German contact page.

Questions:
Why is the text "* indicates required fields" not translated into German?
How can I ensure the text is translated correctly on the German contact page?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. To take a closer look at this issue, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.

Your next answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

=== Please backup your database and website ===

✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is essential.

Thank you
