This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You have translated a post and expect the translated URL (https://nash.io/nl/augustus-2024-ama/) to work, but instead, you are redirected to the original URL (https://nash.io/august-2024-ama/).
Solution:
We suspect there might be a 301 redirect affecting the translated URL. This could be due to settings in a redirection plugin, code modifications on your site, or configurations within your hosting panel. We recommend checking these areas for any unintended redirects. Additionally, contacting your hosting support could help identify if a manual redirect has been set up.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems irrelevant due to being outdated or not applicable to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Background of the issue:
I have made a translation for one of the posts and I am trying to make it work. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link. I expect this URL to work: hidden link.

Symptoms:
Instead of seeing the translated page, I am redirected to the original URL: hidden link.

Questions:
Why is the translated URL redirecting to the original post?
How can I ensure the translated URL works as expected?

Hi there.

From what I can see in the network panel of the browser, it seems that there's a 301 redirect set up for this page.

So I'm not sure if you are using a redirection plugin, or if you added a redirect in the code of the site somewhere or inside the hosting panel, but it seems that there's a redirect set up somewhere.

Can you please check? Maybe also contact the hosting support and see if they can see any trace of a manual redirect being set up?

Please let us know how things go.
