Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate my product automatically using WPML. I have shared a video to illustrate the issue: hidden link.
Symptoms:
The translation process failed, but it still deducted credits from my account. The product was not translated, and I have lost many credits due to this issue.
Questions:
Why did the translation fail but still deduct credits?
How can I get my credits back?
The credits used were only for the translated content, you can check the report in WPML > Translation Management > Tools
Yesterday we had some issues with the Advanced Editor's servers, please increase the WP Memory Limit and send to translation the content that wasn't translated yet.
It means you didn't even check my video.
I show the tools how its taking credit without translation.
Seriously so disappointing. You don't have time to massage and attachment properly.
What kinda service is this.?
Thank you for your patience, it looks like my colleague was simply leaving a quick reply to multiple ATE (Automatic Translation Editor) related tickets due to the issue she mentioned.
These issues should be resolved already, also I can see from our side that new translation work has been done on the site, therefore I assume it's working as expected now?
Regarding the lost credit, based on your video it looks around 3186 credits were used, does that sound accurate? If yes I can go ahead and refund those credits to your account.
just check my website word count and see the credit i lost it lot more than 3k. I was facing another issue like if select 100 product and put translation it should translate and i lost my credit but if i do it again it works then. so for only product it use almost double the credit. And i repeat it only happen while doing it for product translation other translation was good. So please adjust how much i lost.
