This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported that an automatic translation was stuck and mentioned a specific job ID. After blocking the latest stuck translation update, the translation seemed to be working again.
Solution:
We recommended the client to try using the WPML Translation Editor in a different browser and to perform a hard refresh by pressing

Ctrl + Shift + R

(or

Cmd + Shift + R

for Mac users) while using the Translation Editor. Upon further investigation, we identified a fatal error related to Elementor Pro, which prevented the translation job from being downloaded back to the website. We resolved the issue by canceling the pending automatic job, making a slight change to the original homepage, reverting it, saving it, and completing the translation again.

Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. If you're still experiencing issues, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Please check if the WPML Translation Editor works in alternate browsers. Additionally, you may press Ctrl + Shift + R (or Cmd + Shift + R for Mac users) to reload the page while using the translation Editor. Let me know if this resolves the issue for you.

Reloading didn't change anything. Neither did checking it in other browsers. The page in question is still spinning in an unending automatic translation.

I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site – preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible – in order to be of better help. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Please let me know the steps to replicate the problem.

Thank you for your helpful explanation. Could you please confirm if everything is okay now? I have canceled an automatic job that was in progress in WPML → Support → Troubleshooting by using the option "Cancel in-progress automatic jobs." There was only one job that was pending.

No, as soon as I try to update the translation again, it starts spinning endlessly again.

It was a fatal error, which is why you were seeing the icon spinning. Because of this, the translation job couldn't be downloaded back to your website.

Call to a member function get_class_name() on null www/wp-content/plugins/elementor-pro/modules/global-widget/widgets/global-widget.php:185

I have again canceled the pending automatic job, made a slight change to the original homepage (reverted), saved it, and completed the translation again. It seems to be working now.

No, it's not working. I changed one letter on the page, tried to update the translation again, and the same thing happens: the status "Refreshing translation status" is spinning endlessly.
I have overridden the update with another translation job (simply to stop the spinning), but that exact page keeps doing the same.

Could you show me your steps on the screenshots? As I cannot replicate it with the homepage anymore. I also tried making a tiny change.

It seems to be working now, since I blocked the latest stuck translation update.
Thanks!!
