This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing an issue where the WPML translation tool was getting stuck at 92% and the translated page was not being completed. Additionally, when translating the contact page, the screen turned white, preventing further actions.
Solution:
1. We recommended enabling the debug mode by adding the following code to the wp-config.php file:

define('WP_DEBUG', true);<br />define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);<br />define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);<br />@ini_set('display_errors', 0);<br />define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true);

This step was to help identify any underlying errors by creating a debug.log file in the wp-content folder.
2. We suggested making a duplicate of the problematic page and removing specific elements (e.g., links or blocks causing the issue) to see if the translation could complete.
3. For the issue of the white screen, replacing the current contact page with a new one resolved the problem.
4. We performed several backend operations such as clearing the WPML cache and syncing translation jobs to ensure smooth operation.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If problems persist, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate a few pages using the translation tool, but it keeps getting stuck at 90%. All my content is translated. The issue can be seen on this page: hidden link

Symptoms:
The translation tool is failing, and I am not getting a translated page. The error is in the translation manager.

Questions:
Why does the translation tool get stuck at 92%?
How can I resolve the issue with the translation manager?

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **

I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it.

NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin.

Thank you,
Bobby

Hi there,

"... making a duplicate of the page, and deleting the projecten from the text"

this is a good workaround and it is something we frequently suggest as it triggers a "brand new" ID to be created and associated with this translation which can many times solve the issue of a 'stuck' translation not being pulled through the server.

When I visit the contact-us page I can see it is translated OK in both languages, however, I do see that the job is marked as 'pending'.

To resolved I did the following:

- WPML->Support->Troubleshooting
- Run -> "clear WPML cache", "sync translators and translation managers with ATE", "sync local job ids with ATE ids"
- Access the translation again, now it's at 70%.

- NOTE"You don't have enough credits to translate automatically!", therefore I am manually filling out the remaining content by duplicating it, please review it and adjust as needed

Completed translation to 100% successfully without a white page or error and the front end looks OK as well.

Please verify with me.

Hi Bobby, thanks for your reply. Deleting the current contact page and replacing it with a new one helped. I was hoping the previous contact page could be fixed without this work around, but it did the trick.
