Background of the issue:
I am trying to resolve a critical issue with our multilingual WooCommerce site where Italian product category pages return 404 errors. The broken URL is hidden link, while the English equivalent works correctly: hidden link. The issue can be seen at hidden link.

Symptoms:
Italian product category pages return 404 errors, while all other pages, including Italian product pages, work correctly.

Questions:
Why are Italian product category pages returning 404 errors?
How can I fix the 404 error on Italian product category pages?
