I realized that I provided the information for our production environment. We need these mapped in our development environment first in order to test the implementation there.

Also, I'm not entirely sure what you need.

Doesn't TransPerfect have those languages already mapped?
Can you please elaborate on the reason for this request?

This is Ahmed Mamdouh from the translation proxy team and I'll help you with this issue.

I need you to provide me with 2 things to solve this issue:

1- Project ID: Go to WPML -> Support -> Troubleshooting and press "Ctrl + f" and type "icl_translation_projects" and send me a screenshot.

2- A screenshot from the languages page: Go to WPML -> Languages -> Edit Languages and send me a screenshot of this whole page to see the codes configured in the website and make the right mapping for your project.

For number 1, when I do the search for "icl_translation_projects", nothing is found.

Thanks for providing the screenshot, but we need to know the Project ID, If your website is connected to TransPerfect, you should find the project ID.

Could you please provide me with the website credentials to allow me to check the website and get the project ID?

Thanks for providing the needed information.

I checked the website and I found that you didn't authenticate trasnPerfect yet, and that's why you can't see the project ID, because the project ID is initiated once you successfully authenticate the translation service.

So please authenticate TransPerfect and then provide me with the Project ID to be able to do the mapping for your project.

once we have checked it looks like the language code still shows 2 letters. We need to change languages from 2 to 4 letters.

Hello,

Let me explain the mapping briefly, the mapping is not changing anything in the website because changing the language codes in the website may cause errors and corruptions instead, we are making the mapping within the sending process so for example, if you send any job to be translated from the website from uk to es, the translation service will receive it as en-gb to es-es, but nothing will be changed in the website.

So please try to send the jobs to translation and check the source and the target language on the translation service side not on the website.
