Hello there,

You can leave the double links as it is. It shouldn't create any issues at all.

In the meantime, I have escalated the issue to our 2nd tier for further feedback regarding double urls on CTE.

Hello there,

Sorry for the delay, our 2nd tier debugged this issue and found out that the issue doesn't occur when deleting the packages from the WPML->Packages sections anymore.

And since it's not happening anymore, they are unable to test further. They have asked if it's possible for you to share login details for the site so they can check directly.
