Tell us what you are trying to do?
There was a similar ticket before, but it did not resolve the issue. We're using the Yoast location pages plugin to create location pages for our site. The site is English and Spanish. We want the location pages to only be available in English, not Spanish. Right now the Location pages are automatically given a page under "/es/". The content is still in English. We do not want Spanish pages or URLs for those at all. Here's an example of a Spanish page that was auto generated (it's not available in the WordPress dashboard to edit): hidden link. The site is set to "Translate What You Choose".

Is there any documentation that you are following?
No

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

Please go to WPML-> Settings-> Post Type Translation section, set the "wpseo_locations" post type to "Not Translatable", and save.

After that, please clear your site's cache and check the locations.

Best regards,
Osama

I changed that setting and cleared the sites cache, I am still seeing a page at "hidden link".

Hi,

Please let me know if you cleared the site's and server cache. Also, I noticed that you won't see the language switcher at the top of the page when you visit the English locations.

Best regards,
Osama

Yes, as stated above, I did clear the cache for the site. The pages are still there.

We have been working on the language switch. But thanks for the heads up!

Hi,

Thanks for your update. I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.

Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Best regards,
Osama
