Background of the issue:
I am trying to upload a video as a translation file using WPML, but the upload process stops before completion.

Symptoms:
The upload of the video translation file stops at 90-91%, and I expected it to fully upload.

Questions:
Why does the upload stop at 90%?
How can I ensure the video file uploads completely?

Hello,

Could it be that this video is bigger than 384M?

or

Does it take more than 60 seconds to upload the video?

If so, then those are limitations set on the server inside the PHP config file and you should consult your hosting support. Also, ensure that there is enough free space on the server.

Best regards
Andreas

OK, that worked. Faster Upload in the office and it was done under a minute.

However media translation is not working at all!

On our Homepage (Main page) I could fix it. As after the latest Update I am having to redo nearly every page in terms of translation.
See Screenshot attached here I could translate the links.

Then I wanted to do the same thing on different pages as media translation still not working.

But here I do not have the option to translate the videos / pictures manually.

hidden link for instance

in the second screenshot you can see that the media translation is set up but it just wouldn´t translate the media.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the website to investigate the issue further.

You can find the required fields below the comments section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.

IMPORTANT
Please be sure to back up your website and database before granting us access.
If you can't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your post and website credentials will be set to "PUBLIC." DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.

I may need to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" to create a copy of the website so I can investigate the issue further.

However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or a copy of the website from your server for this purpose.

If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Please note that WPML must also be registered on this staging site at https://wpml.org/account/websites/.

If you are unable to provide such a copy of the website for testing, please let me know on this ticket.

The private reply form looks like this:
