We used the Woodmart theme for our WooCommerce site. We installed multiple plugins, like Elementor, WPML, and some others. We translated the site using WPML into Afrikaans. We were experiencing multiple bugs at the initial stage, but Our developer fixed many bugs in the theme, but some bugs are not fixed. In Afrikaans, the default is not fixed. We made the changes in the header builder, but the default is not changing. and other functions like wishlist, add to cart, and cart are not working. Along with these, carts and Checkout are not working. For checkout, we used the WordPress funnel kit checkout plugin. but in English, we fixed this. please help us to fix this.

After translating the header accordingly, the layout and the contents will appear properly.
• Other WooCommerce features not Working: I tried to investigate the other issues from your end; however, as your site is not published yet, I couldn't be able to check them properly. Is it possible to check the other issues somehow from your end? I will properly check and let you know what to do next.
Hi We made the header using theme header builder. also we translated as mentioned as on doc. We already translated everything but many bugs are coming. Theme default header is coming. Wishlist & Compare is working fine on English one but now it is also not working. please check

As you've shared the access, I've checked and been able to find a solution for the issues.
Default Header in Single Product page: This issue was happening due to not updating the Header ID for the African language in String Translation. I've updated the ID under "admin_texts_xts-woodmart-options" text domain and that fixes the issue.
Compare and Wishlist not working: The pages for compare and wishlist wasn't selected in Woodmart Shop settings. For that reason, the Add to Wishlist and Compare feature wasn't working. The issue gets resolved upon selecting the pages.
Translate Checkout, Cart, and Mini Cart: The texts that appear within Checkout, cart, and Mini cart can be translated from String Translation. Please follow the steps mentioned below.
- Please go to "WPML > String Translation"
- Search for the text that you want to translate.
- When the text appears in the result, add the Translation by clicking on the "+" icon under the flag.
Hi there, Above message is hide. but I found some more bugs. 1. why this content coming on about us pages this is only coming on Afrikaans site. 2. How to translate this following text. 3. this button is not working
Please find the response to each issue that you've mentioned, below.
1. The sidebar that appeared on the contact page has been removed now. The settings for the sidebar applied on the default page have not been copied to the translated page somehow. I manually made the changes and that fixes the issue. Please check this screenshot(hidden link) to understand the changes that I've made.
2. The name of the "About us" page has not been translated into the African language which is why, the name appears exactly as the name defined for the English page. Please change the African version of the "About Us" page to see the correct name.
To translate the other texts that you've marked, please go to "WPML > String Translation" and search for those texts. You will be able to translate the text from there.
3. As you've mentioned that the Remove button is not working, would you please check what happens if you keep the WPML plugin deactivated? If the issue persists even after that, you should discuss this matter with the theme author or support. I hope they will guide you in solving the issue.
But, if the issue gets resolved after deactivating the WPML plugin, please let me know. I will take a closer look and try my best to solve the issue.
But we are still having a problem in checkout page while selecting the language Africa.
Site is showing the demo checkout page.
We have translated all the string from string translation, but we are not able to translate the "checkout page" ,the menu "about us",the search bar, and the word "Shopping cart" in minicart of Africa language.
The String Translation in backend don't have any remaining words to translate in English.
The site is become slower after all the string translations. what do you suggest, why it happen?
We have a different template for Gun category which is working fine in English, but while changing the language it does not seems to be look same as English.
Can you please check why string translations are not working? Even we have tried to translate it manually, then also it didn't work.

Checkout page translation: I checked the checkout page and noticed that the Checkout page is built using the Funnelkit plugin. To make the Funnelkit checkout page work properly in each language, please follow the instructions mentioned in the Guide below. I hope it will help.

Please be informed that you need to update the contents of translated checkout page manually using the Page Builder tool.
Translating the menu "About us": To see the About us menu translated, Please follow these steps.
- Switch to the African language from the language switcher appears on the top bar of the Admin panel
- Go to Pages > All Pages section.
- Find the "About Us" page
- Click on the "Quick edit" button and add the African translation of "About us"
- Save the changes.
`Search Bar` and the `Shopping Cart` translation: If you're unable to locate a particular string in String Translation, you should conduct a scan within the theme or plugin to which that specific word belongs or search in the Admin screen section. I kindly request you to follow the instructions mentioned in the guide below.
I hope it will help you to locate and translate the string.
Site Slower after string translation: If you found that the site is responding slowly due to String translation, please remove the unused strings from the string translation section. Please check the documentation below to understand the process.
The issue with Gun Category: Maybe the category archive isn't configured correctly for the African language which is why, it is not showing correctly. Would you kindly share the link to the specific category where you're having the issue? I will check again and let you know what to do next.
